Th Role:

Michael oversees all training and developmental content for Charter Oak Financial as well as designs and implements timely trainings to keep our advisors up to date on industry and company changes.

In addition, he provides guidance to less experienced representatives helping them establish and grow their practice with us.

The Story:

For 12 years Michael has been working in many valuable roles with Charter Oak Financial. After graduating from Dowling College with a degree in Secondary Education, he pursued a career in teaching at the high-school level. After seeing how little personal finance knowledge the average person had and watching students make important financial choices, Michael felt he could make a bigger impact. Michael’s parents always imbued in him the value of caring for others wellbeing, honest work, and following through on commitments. According to him, this position is all about education, understanding, and application.

Michael believes the most rewarding part of his job is providing resources that make such a direct impact on families, businesses, and communities. He believes with the right training and resources; everyone has the capacity for success.

Outside of the office Michael loves playing golf and coaching his children’s sports teams.  He believes golf, his main hobby, is also related to his desire to always be learning. He is always studying new techniques and improving his swing.
