About Me:
As part of a financial planning team within the firm, my partner and I assist individuals, families and small-business owners in all areas of comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, succession planning and estate planning, in addition to helping to address the unique financial considerations of families of children with special needs. My team also conducts frequent educational seminars on these topics.
Prior to joining Charter Oak, I was a longtime advisor with MetLife and owned my own small business for seven years before entering the financial services industry. A Coast Guard-licensed Merchant Mariner from 1975 to 1986, I was the 1st mate on a small tanker in New York Harbor.
I remain active in my community, serving as a board member of the Rip Van Winkle Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and as a volunteer at Scouting events and at my church.
My wife and I reside in Saugerties, New York. We are the proud parents of three successful children and one beloved grandson.
A tailored approach
No two people are alike. Our process emphasizes what’s most important to you, and delivers solutions customized to your specific needs and goals.
Unique perspectives
By looking at things a little differently, we’re able to offer (and gain) the insights we feel are necessary to build understanding and trust.
Authentic relationships
Cultivating authentic relationships makes our work possible, not to mention worthwhile. We care, and it shows.
