About Me:
I focus my practice on the life insurance, retirement planning, wealth management and risk management needs of individuals, small business owners and non-profit organizations.
My professional career originally began as a counseling psychologist by way of a master’s degree in psychology and education from Columbia University. I transitioned to financial services in 1985 and have been with a MassMutual firm ever since. I furthered my knowledge in the field by earning my professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®) from the American College, and a Certification for Long Term-Care (CLTC®) from the CLTC Board of Standards.
Outside of the office, I am a member of The Links, Incorporated organization, which is comprised of accomplished women committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. The Links is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations. I am also a dedicated member of the United Methodist Church, where I regularly attend church services. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, swimming and decompressing with yoga.
I live in Freeport, NY with my husband and daughter.
A tailored approach
No two people are alike. Our process emphasizes what’s most important to you, and delivers solutions customized to your specific needs and goals.
Unique perspectives
By looking at things a little differently, we’re able to offer (and gain) the insights we feel are necessary to build understanding and trust.
Authentic relationships
Cultivating authentic relationships makes our work possible, not to mention worthwhile. We care, and it shows.
