About Me:

My career began as an engineering officer in the United States Merchant Marine. In 2003, I was awarded the Operation Iraqi Freedom Expeditionary Medal for my time spent deployed overseas. It was my time on ships that I decided to pursue an interest in investing and learned the ins and outs of the finance industry. In 2005, I was honorably discharged from the United States Navy Reserve. I spent nearly 12 years in the engineering field before transitioning into financial services where I have been ever since.

With Charter Oak since 2010, I focus my practice on the financial planning, investment and insurance planning needs of families and business owners. I believe that a person’s financial situation is bound to change over time, which is why I emphasize the importance of having a trackable financial strategy. If my clients can sleep comfortably at night knowing their finances are secure, then I can as well.

Outside of the office, I can be found enjoying the great outdoors by way of wakeboarding, fishing and boating. In addition to spending time with my family and running my practice, I am actively involved in the Hillside Food Outreach organization, and my children’s school and extracurricular programs. I reside in Danbury, CT with my wife and our three children.

A tailored approach

No two people are alike. Our process emphasizes what’s most important to you, and delivers solutions customized to your specific needs and goals.

Unique perspectives

By looking at things a little differently, we’re able to offer (and gain) the insights we feel are necessary to build understanding and trust.

Authentic relationships

Cultivating authentic relationships makes our work possible, not to mention worthwhile. We care, and it shows.
